The Hall of Shame

Marketed hard, backed by nothing. These are the fat-burners, "test boosters," and detox gimmicks that sell a transformation and deliver an empty evidence base. We name them so you can stop paying for snake water. No affiliate links, no hedging.

Caught in our own reviews

Two compounds we ran through the full evidence weighing and the verdict came back No. These have complete profiles.

The named list

Sold as shortcuts to fat loss, testosterone, or "detox." The shared trait: take away the marketing and there's no human evidence the product does what the label promises.

Inclusion here means the marketed benefit isn't supported by credible human evidence — not that a substance is unsafe or has no use elsewhere. Some are fine foods or have unrelated medicinal uses; the claim being sold is the problem. Full per-product profiles are rolling out. Think one belongs here, or think we're wrong about one? Tell us.
